Silverstone test day 30.6.06 cancelled
Next Fridays silverstone test day has been cancelled for single seaters due to lack of interest, was anyone else booked in or considering going? At the momment it will just be run as open pit lane for saloons only. If there is a good enough show of interest we could try to persuade them to reconsider.

The test day last Friday was poorly attended (6 cars in open wheelers) so that may have caused them to be more aggressive for the next one.

Six payers has got to be better than none though, the saloons wont pay any more for the open pit lane situation, there must be an insurance saving somewhere, i can't see why else they would do it.

I agree. It was nice to run in though. Plenty of room. Would have been nice if they did open pit lane but apparently they are very reluctant to have open wheelers and tin tops on at the same time.
