Britcar 'Into the night' race 13/14 November 2021

I used to love this meeting many years ago - but it now looks like a shadow of its former self.

There is minimal information on the Brands Hatch or the Britcar website but it looks like it is the 'Trophy' class that is racing. Which, as far as I can tell, is saloon car racing - with the cars spec'd as being sub GT4 performance.

I still may pop along but it won't be the Rollcentre Mosler and the MJC Ferrari battling it out amongst the Porsche's, Ferrari's, TVR's etc.

Agreed - it's a shame the endurance championship isn't running, it's always been one of my favourite meetings. Looks like it's a shorter race as well, normally both Trophy and Endurance start together then the Trophy race finishes and Endurance carry on until the curfew, this year it's all done by just after half five. Shame. I was trying to find an entrylist yesterday but couldn't find one.

Only 13 cars entered for the Britcar race. That is a bit of a shame. The meeting does have a 3 hour C1 race on the schedule as well. They've got 44 cars entered, should more than make up for it. Other grids are decent too.

A week later we'll have the Indy 500 as well, with 48 (!) entered cars. Will be quite the sight to behold around the Indy circuit!
