GTS production requirements
Is it 25 cars a year or 25 total for a samll manufacture and the same with big ones at 100?

25 total for a small company(Saleen, Mosler etc)
100 total, 25 per 4 years for a large company(GM, Ferrari, Dodge etc). Last edited by Patrick B; 19 Feb 2004 at 21:26. |

"A regular production implies a permanent implementation of the means required to produce a minimum of 1 car per month. The ACO can suspend at any time the homologation of the car if the production is not respected. A handicap will be imposed (See Art. 2.3 below) as long as a minimum of 25 road cars for the "big manufacturers" and 12 road cars for the "small manufacturers" will not be produced." |

FIA GT is 25 for a Supercar such as the Maserati and Saleen and, I believe, 100 or 200 for a regular GTS car such as the 575GTC.
2005 however should see FIA and ACO GTS regs alligned at last. |

has the saleen or the tvr met the production run critria yet? They are both competitive cars with the burden of being restricted.

Saleen has. TVR I should think has by now as well.
