Well, when I made my PC it was actually a super gaming machine and among the top.....but nowadays......*sigh*

Still....

Pentium 2@400Mhz
Diamond Monster Fusion AGP (Voodoo banshee with 16MB)
128MB of ram
one 8.4 GB HD and another 1.2 GB HD
and one 24X CD Rom drive brand "puppy" (which I hate with all my heart) and another 4X which I only use for music CD's.

I hope that I'll be able to buy a Geforce2 MX and a 600Mhz P3.....or maybe I'll find oil below my home and buy myself (among other things) that U$4000 DELL PC I saw the other day.

Primary computer is a P2 @466Mhz, 128meg RAM, 8.4gig HDD, a SCSI reader and a writer, SCSI Acer scanner, just a 15' monitor... and I wouldn't have a clue about the sound card or video card... I don't play games and I can see the screen as it is... the speakers are never on.

Secondary: PI 200mmx with a 1.2gig hdd... (there's a 15 gig hdd around, it might go in the 466 and the 8.4 go into the 200), 24x CD reader (IDE).

Both have external zip drives and 56k modems, they share a Hewlett Packard Laserjet 5 printer.

I know that feeling, I upgraded not so long ago and now someone tells me I can't run Black&White on maximum graphics. I'll show them!

anyways, this is it:

Athlon 650 mhz (@714 mhz)
160 mb RAM
Geforce 2 mx
and some other old stuff

I overclocked the FSB from 100 to 110 mhz, so the memory and the graphics card are faster than they should be. Also Asus pack a nice utility with their graphics card to overclock 'em another 10% or so. Everything stays nice and stable.

Being one of the Network Administrators at my work, & in charge of all desktop hardware for our engineers I get to pamper myself with fairly latest stuff. (Sometimes it's Good to be King.)
P4 1700
512MB RDRAM (going to 768 in a couple weeks)
20 & 30GB SCSI HD's
CD & CD/RW
SB Live
64MB ATI Radion video (Sometimes put in a 32MB
Matrox G400 dual-head)
We game at work after hours so this is my gaming machine. We also run our own T1 line into the main Eugene, OR., USA hub for our internet so I've given up on running anything from home.

Wow!! That's a hell of a computer!! Have you ever run 3Dmark 2000 on that thing? If so, which was your score.

I'm not even going to post mine as I'm ashamed of it

7500!?!??!?! God, I guess my PC is really outdated now. And to think that when I bought it less than 2 years ago it was one the best things you could get.

Ha! if your's is showing it's age them mine should already by in a museum. OK, I'll confess. On a good day I get 1300 in 3D Mark 2000 at 800*600 and 16 bits. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll go to a corner and cry like a baby.
