Mercedes - despite the issue with Bottas' pit stop, gave the right strategy to Hamilton for a win.

Mercedes for making it work when likely at a slight disadvantage.

This is an interesting poll, as it is difficult to define the best team. Red Bull made the best car, but Mercedes got the win. Alfa Romeo and Alpha Tauri were the most improved. But I thought McLaren were the most complete team today, so I voted McLaren.

Mercedes, kudos to Red Bull and, dare I say it, Ferrari.

Mercedes for the double podium.
RBR - 2 technical issues - diff problem and also the black out on the formation lap. Without those problems, who knows how different the result would have been? |

I think I have to go Mercedes, despite the botched pitstop for Bottas (which, to be fair, isn't really a hill of beans as it seems obvious already that the Finn is going to be outclassed by Hamilton easily again this season). Great strategy to put Hamilton well in front. Great work by McLaren, here's hoping they can challenge even further as the season goes on.

I am surprised to see so many votes for Mercedes. Yes, they beat RBR on strategy but there relative pace has dropped back.
Both Alpha Tauri and McLaren were showing solid progress on past seasons. McLaren in particular must be unique in being a once-dominant team who slumped to the back and are now clawing their way back to the front again. Brabham, Lotus, Tyrrell and Williams (so far) all failed to do that. But my Team of the GP is Red Bull who have also upped their pace, and they are now looking like the fastest car bar none. |

Well, we all know Lewis will win the 8th, and Mercedes will probably clinch the title, because why should they not? He is the best and they are the best. The only doubt in my mind is if Bottas and Perez switch around, then RB might get the constructor title.
So, I am planting my orange flag for the team that will be the key to everything happening below the top. Well done McLaren. |

Yet they not only failed to win, one of their cars didn't make it around the formation lap with needing to be rebooted. That doesn't sound like a great team performance to me? |
