Canon D60 Pointers
My 10D died on me at the weekend...autofocus f...flipping broken (see horrible manual focus results at my site )
Fortunately its still under warranty (its only just had new shutter unit) and I've secured the loan of a D60 until it returns...anything I should be aware of??? |

Very long shutter delay on D60/D30 so beware !!!
My D30 tends to eat batteries too so take plenty spares & a charger Also may have problems powering big lenses |

I didnt encounter any shutter lag but the camera I had was a total dog. The LCD didnt give any sort of representation of what was being shot..everything looked totally underexposed which tricked you into over compensating. Most of my images were so grainy they looked like they'd been shot at 1600 ISO when they were all 100 or 200. Fortunately my 10D will be back Monday but I'm not wasting any effort taking the 60 to Curborough on Sunday

Hope it works as good as new Paul when you get it back...Iv'e had to use mine with two big scratches acrross my sensor screen (like big tram lines) for the last 4 months now as it will take too long to get it repaired in betweem the weekly meetings. I'm waiting for my manager mate in Jessups to find me a second hand 10D body-then I can put my one in for repair! All I can say is I'd be lost without my photshop... what a pain getting rid the lines on each picture I submit to the mags on a Sunday evening!!!

Hi Paul
What have they changed on the MkII N? I am contemplating hiring a MkII with a view to buying one, would be interested to know what you get for the extra 800 odd quid |
