Struggie do you not have any photos yourself ?

I see you had a white clubman and then a black saloon. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Calling maybe one of the 'old boys' GM or rallyx-guru they must have a photo or two. I'm currently rebuilding a few replicas of old Rallycross cars, so desperate for photos.

Any of the old Plastic Padding Minis ?

Not quite correct but here we go
I ran a mini in tahiti blue under the medway racing development banner for 2-3 years then got help from car colours for this car
Left the sport fo a while (months) and worked part time for david potter and wessex racing looking after david rally cross mini and his two ex works minis CRX90B and LBL45F as well as his wifes mini cooper S.alan then helped with the mini when I was at blazesspeed which then had a 1600CC mini motor in it
I then built a brand new mini clubman (dave pritcard chassis) which I ran under the car coulors banner.after a bad year or two alan and I parted ways and the car was then painted red and was run in belgium and holland germany and austria for a year or two.
My last car was built at gartrac after a chance meeting with dave Bignold (gartrac) who agreed to build a very special car for me a very trick bit of kit we could change a steering rack in about 5 minutes it was all rose jointed around 24 of them raised floor fabricated subframe etc. running a 1500 cc wessex motor the cars main advantage was reliability handling and braking.
Phew

Wow. Thanks for the history lesson. Mind you I was looking at black & white photos so maybe I can be forgiven.

So the Gartrac car was white. Just seen Ron Wright and you have a good race on Youtube and then watched you rather harshly be excluded by the stewards in another race. You should have been allowed to keep your place.

Good final at Brands with Tony Bardy in the ex Trevor Reeves Mini putting up a brilliant fight against the 4wd cars. I also saw Trevor Hopkins is driving the Escort which is now with Bob Gooding.

So you worked for Blazespeed. I'm building a model based on the Blazespeed Mini Hot Rod driven by Roger Smith.

Yea drove that once from what I can remember it was a pretty basic car (as they all were in those days) total CC apart just under 1600. the main trick bit was extra long rear swinging armd from a Mini moke i believe
