Acemco Saleens for sale
DSC has listed both Acemco Saleens up for sale.
I thought the bear said that they were already sold. I wonder if the deal fell through. Bottom line is ALMS needs more cars in GT1 and I think these 2 would be a GREAT addition. |

Rumours were they had already been sold, I guess not.
Update to Oreca spec, plus undoubted help from IMSA, could be potential winners. |

according to john hindhaugh on alms commentry, the saleens have been sold to someone in the uk but this has yet to be confirmed

Opening bids START AT $350,000 ( or down payment of $350,000 ) but the reserve has not been met.
If I had to guess $500,000 each plus another $200,000 for the spare parts. |

It looks like he got a good deal on that Land Rover. Hopefully that will allow him to spend some cash on the Saleen.
I know Sportscars have been put on Ebay from time to time. What typically happens to them once they are sold? What I am really getting at is what is the liklihood of seeing a Saleen run in the ALMS next year? |
