A1 GP Car Runs at Kyalami
Following its recent unveiling in South Africa, the A1 Grand Prix car, weith Alan van der Merwe at the wheel, ran a few demonstration laps at the legendary Kyalami circuit, much to the delight of over 25,000 race fans.

i say the car looks right, and nice crowd for a first demo, shakedown.
A1 steaksauce GP certainly may take off well.- a winter league? watch a few other will pop up now, winter touring series...winter oval series, and supersaloons all over the deserts... (this would work very well in Australia eh?) |

When does the first season start and where? Is that info known at this time? |

The season will start in late Autumn 2005 and run through to early spring 2006.
Probably ten dates on the calendar. |

Moved to Single seater
The testing seems to be going OK so far. Hopefully they will get the performance and reliability of this car sorted and we shall have another interesting series. It will have to be good the market place is competetive. The timign of the season should be its strength, along with the venues. |

Ive just read that Alex yoong has secured the Malaysian franchise but that also 9 other countries have confirmed that they will take part in the series.
One of them is Australia but I dont know anything about this. does anyone have any info on the ozzy entry into this series ? |

the series does look very promising but i dont hold much hope of the Aussie teams chances then. still will be interesting how this series pans out though |
