Long Beach Q's
Well it was good, The sound of the cars Live is odd, they are quieter than last year, why is that? Is it the reduction in revs? Also the racing is very well matched, but who really thought Paul Tracy was that good? or is it Players have it together? and sorry to XBOOK I was at the hairpin by the 'paddock club' sittin under a tree at noon, but alas the labyrinth of fences and people made it near impossible to meet anyone i gather, i hope you enjoyed like I did though.

Tracy has had the luck go his way a bit. He's always been a top driver, but in recent years some have forgotten it due to some lackluster performance. (mostly setup/team, etc.)
I think the lower revs are making it quieter, but don't quote me on that. |

Yo Guys,
Long Beach rocked. The weather held, and it was a great weekend. I have posted a bunch of my pics on my website. Check back on tuesday to see the Historic Grand Prix cars. WOW!!! They were INCREDIBLE. the sound was mind-blowing. the web link is: http://homepage.mac.com/opking/PhotoAlbum34.html And, while you are there, feel free to look at any of my other pics too. xBook |

gt, I go to Long Beach every year and didn't think the engines were any quieter. On Friday and Saturday, I sat on the Start/Finish line. The only thing about the cars I noticed that were different was the popping sound during shifting was absent this year. The S/F line is a shifting point and is normally a very loud place to sit.
I sat in Grandstand 6 on Sunday. That is really the place to sit. You can see if the pass is made at turn #1 and then you can see them come back around from the Aquarium side. |
