Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca?
With the recent announcement of Mazda becoming the engine supplier of the Atlantics, which includes promotion, what are the chances of Champ Car returning to Laguna Seca?
While it has never been one of my fave tracks it is one of NA's best road courses. Could Mazda possibly help promote this race and get people to go? Would be nice. |

It is too close to San Jose. And San Jose is not going away soon.

I agree. The reason why there is a San Jose race in the first place is that the San Francisco Bay Area crowd wasn't going to Laguna Seca. So, the idea of San Jose was to bring the racing closer to the fans.
Kinda sad in one sense because Laguna Seca has been an integral part of the Champ Car schedule for a very long time. But the San Jose race has a lot of potential. |
