87 Zakspeed, need pictures please.
I have aquired Martin Brundles race overalls from his time in the 87 Zakspeed.
I would really like to find some pictures of the Car and even better some pictures of Martin in the overalls. I have of course spent time surfing only to find a couple of small pictures of the car. All help gratefully received. Thanks, Braden |

Theres lots of Zakspeed pics on the net.A picture of Brundle in the overalls is a bit harder, you might have to go to the library and look in the 1987 Autocourse or similar book.

the 1987 season was almost certainly Brundle's worst season in f1 - Zaxspeed was a very poor team indeed...

Is the zaxspeed ahead of that car,
or is it (more likley) being lapped? |

Thanks for the help folks, and thanks for the book ref armco.
Stuff on the web is fairly thin on the ground because the car was weak and it was a bad year for brundle. |

Well the other car is Senna in the Lotus, so I guess he was being lapped. A far cry from 4 years previous, when they were so close in F3, but Martin was consistantly unlucky in terms of the drives he got offered.

He performed very well for Ligier. I remeber him consistantly bringing the car home on the points.
It would have been nice to see hime get an extra year at Benneton. With hindsight, he wasn't too bad compared with Schumi the year they were team-mates. |

Actually, that was Mark Blundell in the '95 McLaren. Common mistake, but you can tell the difference simply by remembering Brundle had the talent, Blundell had his father's money.

No, he was at Ligier '95. Hakkinen and Blundell had the McLaren-Mercedes that year.
Brundle had struggled with the miserable Peugeot-powered McLaren the year _before_, also alongside Hakkinen (who, of course, had taken over a McLaren race seat full-time after being promoted from tester in '93 when Michael Andretti finally admitted defeat and went back to Champcars).
