Sorry Sparky,
Those clever people at the CSCC have, in their infinite wisdom, selected the same weekend as the Coys Historic Festival at Silverstone. I'm afraid that fond as I am of Mini Coopers and Lotus Cortinas, they pale in comparison with Aston DB3S, Lightweight E Types and Lola T70s. I'm sure you understand. This brings me to a real peeve. As usual, the domestic historic racing scene is packed into the first half of the season, then tails off dramatically once July is over. Then they all troll off and do rounds at Spa, Croix en Ternois, Montlhery and Zandvoort. Not that I've anything against a quick European jaunt, but why do they all have to be in the second half of the season? And even the Aston Martin club has chosen to run a meeting to clash with the mighty Goodwood Revival for the second year running. Honestly! |

Er. It was the BARC not the CSCC. The CSCC usually has quite a presence at Coys. We should still have our stand there this year. Maybe we won't have the hostility bus at Snetterton in that case. Oh well. Its off to the bar then!!!

The hostility unit will be at Snetterton. we also have a display at Coys. Sadly, Slowcoach won't be at Snetterton (see "Racer's Forum"). But just have to keep this at the top.
