Chevrolet Corvette GTP
Here's the information I've found so far on the 7 Chevrolet Corvette GTPs built by Lola. Nearly all have different Lola type numbers because of the years they were built and in what fashion.
Cars ending in 0 were originally built with a Chevy Turbo V6, while cars ending in 1 were originally built with a Chevy V8. The cars did not necessarily stay in that configuration though. The car ending in 2 is the Lotus-tuned development car. T710 #HU01 * Racing Systems (1984) * Hendrick Motorsport (1985 - 1986) T711 #HU02 * Lee Racing (1985 - 1986) * Hendrick Motorsport (1986) T86/10 #HU01 * Hendrick Motorsport (1986 - 1987) T86/10 #HU02 * Hendrick Motorsport (1986 - 1988) T86/12 #HU03 * GM testbed fitted with a Lotus active suspension system. Raced by Hendrick once in 1987, DNFed. Had the turbo V6. T87/10 #HU01 * Hendrick Motorsport (1988) T88/11 #HU01 (originally mislabeled by Lola as T88/10) * Peerless Racing (1988 - 1989) * Eagle Performance, renamed the car "Eagle 700" and installed their own 10.2L V8. Attempted Le Mans in 1990, failed to qualify. T88/11 #HU01 story |

Did Hendrick retain any of the cars?
Where are these cars. Which was the one that went up in flames with Doc Bundy bailing out, in West Palm was it? |

Re: Corvette GTP
I have the book "Corvette Racers" from 1992. The book doesn't identify the car lost at Palm Beach, but Doc Bundy described that car as being the best chassis.
