2008 GT 4 Nurburgring Nordschleife Cup

Because there are no events going on at the moment, I thought a ONE OFF EVENT would be a good idea to get people racing again.......and what better track ...but the Nordschlieffe Circuit.....so I present "THE 2008 NURBURGRING NORDSCHLIEFFE CUP"...a true Power to Weight contest to see who is "THE KING OF THE RING."

Here are the Details:
*Arcade Mode - Time Trial
*Circuit:Nurburgring Nordschlieffe
*CARS: You must use one of the following cars: *Merc Benz Touring Car DTM 00, *Nissan Penzoil GTR JGTC 99, *Audi A4 Touring Car DTM 04, *Mazda LM Race Car 01, *Opel Astra Touring Car DTM 00,* Toyota WoodOne Tom's Supra JGTC 03 or Castrol Supra JGTC 00, *Honda Takata Dome NSX JGTC 03, *Toyota Superautobacs Apex MR-S JGTC 00.
SETTINGS: You must "Quick Tune" your car to:
*BHP...400 BHP or less
*Weight...car must not weigh less than 1000kg
*Tyres....free choice but RSS probably the go.
*Gearing....free choice
TIMES: You will have a week to submit your times.....you will post them on this thread....you may post as many times as you like during the week as you improve your times....you may also change cars as you get a feel for the different cars....When you post your times please give the following information: *Car * BHP *Weight *Time. The WINNER will be REQUIRED to POST a PHOTOGRAPH of these details to CONFIRM the legality of their time......so if you get a good time ... take a picture of the "Best Session Time" screen which shows all the above details. The event concludes next Tuesday 29th April Midnight Australian Time.

Come on guys support this one off event...we need some racing on this forum....it should be fun!

I wouldn't mind checking out that full circuit... never been on it before.

don't play GT4 much at all.. will have to see if I can figure it out. usually when I play it's because my buddy's making me and he gets it all set up for me and I just set my time.

but the thought of running a modern day DTM or LeMans car around that track it very intriguing
