Barry,I fully agree with you, the posting of the Britcar report was absolutely nothing to do with me, and with hindsight, maybe I should have made a fuss that it exploited my intellectual property. I had posted earlier information that the report was available on the dsc and eerc sites.

Regarding the length of this thread, I believe it was the moderator's idea to merge all of the various/similar threads a month or two ago.

Good Luck to Fiona - a class or overall win in each race would compound the record further !

Steve, apologies for trying to spread the gospel about BritCar. My mistake. And I did give you IP credit along with dsc, where in fact it was lifted from.....dsc don't mind info being lifted as long as it is not for commercial gain and you give them credit for it.

Because dsc is subscription based I think you will find that less people will look at the report on dsc.

In addition many people cannot be bothered to follow a link....

keep up the excellent work

I think a full race report is too big to go up here - and as a result I'm pulling it - I don't mind a list of results a but a full report - too much

Well, as its all gone a bit quiet on here-so how about a little news then-both Peter Seldon and Andy Allen should have their new BMW's out to play at the next round all being well. James-have you any news on anything at the moment...hows this Belgium tie-up going???

They keep saying that they are coming out to play.....be good if they do.

It is very quiet. Quiet enough to be cranking out 250 miles a week on my bike. It won't harm us to improve the power to weight ratio by reducung the drivers' weights by 40lbs each.....

All I know is Peter's car should be out on track next week. I saw Andy at the Kumho Snetterton round last month, he wasn't that optimistic about his car, but he still planned to have it out for the 24th July.

If you go to the EERC website, and scroll down a little bit, you will find a new initiative for Britcar entrants.

Thanks, Andy. Glad you think it's entertaining. Just like the series itself, it's uncontroversial, civilised, and friendly. A fine bunch of people racing, watching, and posting.

You may flippin' laugh Martin......last thursday evening I raced up near Abergavenny and we averaged 27 mph for almost 2 hours. Not quite Honda 90 speed but not shabby. My heart rate was over 160 for the 2 hours, max of 184...

We are due to race at Pembrey this Thursday evening, I hope I go better than the M3 did in the second race.....

Our new (to us !!), actually it is new, Lifeforce car is virtually finished. It has been on the rolling road and is due back on it next week. Then a shake down at Llandow, followed by some proper testing.

Does not impress me, last week i walked to my local pub, nearly 400 yds, pulse rate 360, blood pressure through the roof. just wish our local minicab office would get its act together. I heard tha Johnny Herbert had to walk a mile for a pint after one race, just shows them f1 boys fit.

ps. james brands is 10 laps not 3 hours as i read !!!!!!!!

very jokingly

Give us some details about the open day, Martin.

Where, what time, what will be going on ?

I'm supposed to be on DIY duty on Sunday, after working at Combe on Saturday, but I may try to slip away for a few hours on Sunday.

I'll leave details to warren who is going to read this thread later. But i know its free champagne and caviar to all that turn up, gift for children, chance to win co-drive with mp...................no sorry woke up lol

topcats open up there hq for customers, prospective customers and anyone interested in cars, big display of race cars, very nice road cars (tvrs, ferraris etc), also chance to talk with all involved with topcats, warren, charlotte, brian, keith, all there and much easier to chat without the pressures of race day.
It's a good day out, hopefuly weather will be glorious as it is today.
Hope warren reads this to give address, i not got it on file, just know its about 3 miles west of aylesbury, westcott business park. signposted from road.

maybe see you there

mp

sorry 12pm onwards

"....the pressures of race day" !!!!!!!

You'd know all about that, wouldn't you, Martin ?

By the way, what time is your autograph session ? I want to be at the head of the queue, in front of the other 2 people.
