The loosers of 2001
The loosers of 2001:
Jaguar (bad will allways be bad), Prost (hmmmm), Gaston Mazzacane (Did any one cry when he went?), Arrows (what happened to 2000's progress?), Jenson Button (Why is he so hyped up? what about Alonso, Heidfeld, every other driver in f1....), Alex Yoong (In F1 cos hes Malaysian and has money). Tarso Marques (Why bother coming back?), Bar (Are u ever going to improve...), Jaques Villeneuve (What happened in Indianapolis 18th on the grid..shocking). |

Biggest winner:
Nick Heidfeld as he shows McLaren that they took the wrong driver Biggest Loser: Sadly, Fisichella may have got the wrong end of the deal if the Renault does improve to be 4th best |

The biggest winners and losers of 2002 are already known.
The biggest loser has to be Alain Prost, because his team didn't make it to the grid. The biggest winner has to be Kimi Raikonnen, because after just one year in F1 the rookie made it into a WDC-potential car, by-passing al the enormous talents who're still running in the F1-shadows. Something which hasn't happened since Jacques Villeneuve and that was a heavily orchestrated move as well. |

The biggest winner last year has to be Kimi who got a ride this year in teh McLaren, and teh biggest loser last year is undoubtedly Rubens who stays on as numero duo at the red team.
This year, I predict the biggest winner will be Jenson Button who will be able to stay on and win races at Renault, possibly the top team next year. The biggest loser this year has already been settled : Jos who lost his place in F1 for this year. |

Watch out for Renault. Maybe not not imediately but soon.
Mclaren have a very strong car but the f2002 looks even stronger. Unfortunatley I think McNish will miss out . |

Biggest winners: Kimi Raikkonen (in a McLaren in his 2nd season with a pants team-mate);
Minardi (spanky new Asiatech engine, dosh from Mr Stoddart and Malaysia and the (dubious?) talents of Mr Webber); Frentzen (still with us and still one of the best); Sauber (the new car is flying); Heidfeld (is making the car fly); Renault - something tells me they're not going to be too bad after all... Biggest losers: Jaguar (need I say anymore?); Arrows (using the same engine as aforementioned losers...) Toyota (oops...) |

Before testing I would have said Fisichella was the biggest winner, moving from Renault to Jordan - but now I am not so sure. Button and Yoong are also winners as have still got a drive, while the biggest loser is Eddie Irvine - because he is!!!

At the end of this season the winners will be:
Renault: Biggest move up the championship ladder of all teams (4th) Trulli: Taking advantage of the above. Williams: pushing the red cars all the way, warming up for domination in 2003 The biggest losers will be: Barrichello: Will be lucky to stay in the top 6 if the Williams and Mac are any good. Last year at Ferrari Rubins. Sauber: Not that the will do badly, but the competition of Renault, Honda, Toyota & Ford will just be too much for the team to bare. Going down... (through no fault of there own) |

Minardi fan, as you are Minardi's biggest supporter here, I look forward to you jumping on the Webber bandwagon during the year. |
