Jan Magnussen

i was wondering about his schedule, He has won the DTC (danish touringcar championship) in his third attempt and this as he was battling it out in the states and prepping for lemans with prodrive- busy busy- any iddeas on if he was just a jet setter? I was so not aware of this, what a racer

Yes, he missed the Miami ALMS race to do the DTCC race, as it was a prior commitment before he joined on with Prodrive. Turner did a great job as Brabs' teammate though, and they won the race. Very well done.

And the car didn't run into anything over the weekend. Though Brabs did have a mechanical failure in one of the practice sessions. Gearbox I believe.

He lives in England.

Goes to Denmark for the touring car races.

Goes to USA for ALMS.

He's running the Enduro's in Australia this year as well.

Couldn't run at Sandown as he wouldn't hand over his Danish national licence (and rightly so), but will be right to race at Bathurst.

Compared to some others and compared to what drivers did in the past, the schedule isn't really that bad.

Why would he have to? Just curious.

The Sandown event was only of "national" status and needed an Australian lisence.
