SCC Patch for F1 Challenge 99-02 is out
Here the details:
RSDG's Sports Car Challenge Patch for F1 Challenge 99-02 ===================================== Please read the install instructions carefully to avoid any problems with the install of the patch. Details --------- -updated physics: All new physics for GT and GTS class cars and updates to LMP physics. Big thanks to Jim holley, Kevin Buckler (Racers Group)http://www.theracersgroup.com/ that have been helping out with our porsches. Brakes have their optimum brake temps at 700-900 F (371.1- 482.2C)front and 100deg less in the rear And on a normal track it takes about 1 lap to have fully optimal temperatures on brakes. Soft tires can take about 1 or 2 laps before they have optimal grip which is at 99c (degress) You hear pitcrew yell that the brakes are to "hot" when leaving pit. It's actually the temperature outside of optimum that brake grip drops to half (too hot or too cold) that he talks about. It's a bug in F1C. -new improved version of SCC launcher: Bugfixes and new features added. -AI updates: AI cars are harder to beat now. -new damage models: cars are more robust now -gfx updates and bugfixes: Mirrors work better now, updates to some of the GT and GTS class cockpits, safetycar lights fixed, etc... -new cars added: 2001 RWS Motorsport Porsche 996 GT3-R, 2002 Sebah Automotive Porsche 996 GT3-R, 2002 Team Carsport Holland Viper GTS-R and 2002 Welter Racing WR LMP Peugeot -updated cars: 2001 Dick Barbour Racing Porsche 996 GT3-R, 2001 Kyser Racing Porsche 996 GT3-R, 2001 Kelly Moss Motorsports Porsche 996 GT3-R, 2002 Speedsource Porsche 996 GT3-R and 2002 Porschehaus Racing Porsche 996 GT3-R -Track AIW updates: Fuelrate fixes, new terrain file, etc...
