Arson attack in TAS

arsonists in tasmania have attacked a DJR promo car at davenports ferry teminal, apparently there has been other attacks in the last few weeks too.

the way the worlds going these days is disgusting and although i doubt it was anything to do with motorsport, and was just some young delinqents (SP?), there probably needs to be better security.

I have a few licenced cars that I would dearly like to take out for a nice evening drive now and again but it is too risky leaving them parked anywhere for fear of them being damaged. I couldn't imagine what it would be like to come out of a restaurant after a nice meal only to find your pride and joy vandalised or stolen. It makes me cringe just thinking about it.
The trouble is that these low lifes go to court and plead "A troubled childhood" and they get the obligitory smack on the wrist.
Stinks if you ask me.
