That was my take on it as well. I chose to not vote for Mercedes in the Team poll on the basis of their mistake that led to George's DSQ. George got my vote, albeit cast before the DSQ, as he, as a driver, performed in my opinion better than any other driver. Bottom line it is a vote based on opinion. My vote my opinion. As are those of others. All equally valid.
