2004 ALMS at Laguna Seca to End at Night

Last night on Speed Channel, it was noted at the top of the show that the ALMS season-ending race at Laguna Seca will feature night racing during the final segments of the event.

Dave Despain added that the race this year will begin at
4 p.m. local time and end at 8 p.m. on the West Coast.

That's gotta please our Forum members who attend the West Coast events.....you'll get Night Practice as well as racing action in the dark....

There's nothing like flames from the exhausts and the glowing rotors to top off a great racing event!!!

Be sure to grab a good spot at the corkscrew....should make for very interesting racing!!!!!

I agree Tim. As a west coast resident I can't wait for this. I've not had the chance to witness sportscar racing at night and this will be my first taste of it.

I can't wait. Laguna is the perfect place for night racing. The terrain changes and lights dipping and raising, flaming exhaust and glowing brakes should be an awesome sight.
