Team Australia currently have one of their Champcars in Australia and were preparing for a demonstration run at Queensland Raceway today when the car caught fire in a refuelling accident.
Full story can be seen HERE Thankfully no one was seriously hurt but a scary moment that has been flashed across australian TV news reals tonight |

As I posted in the Aussie V8s, I was quite disturbed to see no one there prepared for the possibility of a fire, and having to resort to tipping bottled water over the mechanic to put out the invisible flames.
Someone should get their arse kicked over the lack of safety standards there. |
