Team Tracey-ERC 2008 Round 6 Sweden

The highlight of the ERC season. George will be going all out to improve on his C Final win in Momarken and Guttorm will be eager to make up for his home event disappointment. With the huge crowd and WRC legend Gronholm making his debut, this should be a cracking event

george is only getting better and stronger as the events go by and the results are there to show.......

but dont forget about derek......
he is making a real impact and showing irish drivers can drive
no better man to do it.
straight out of stock and making his presance felt.
no other driver coming from stockhatch into Europe could do this, not Julian Godfrey or Micheal duke or anyone in the irish championship would put such a strong performance in as Derek has.
He got out of stockhatch at the rite time,he could not be beat and now going into Europe he is proving a hard man to beat in a class that is new to him.
I think we should all take our hats off to this man as he does not have the money that the super car drivers have but is doing this country proud in all of europe and is in for a good chance of doing well in his first ERC championship.
I dont think Derek is geting the praise he deserves for doing what he is doing.
My hat goes off to Derek doing a fantastic job just not getting any of the luck that he needs......

Hang in there you are doind a great job Derek..........

All sorted. It could have been sorted for the B in Momarken only for the organisers made a mess of the timing schedule

learner, there is more than derek tohill who has talent and drives in mondello. your post seems to a simple case of brown nosing. By the way if you are going to post comments like above have the manners to use your name the way the rest of us do.

Yip, its great fun over here. Beautiful weather and great racing all afternoon Suspected problems with George's engine, seems to be running a bit hot so fingers crossed that it's ok for tomorrow. Proctor was shunted off at the first corner in his heat but drove like a man posessed to catch the rest and take the win with a huge dive down the inside into the last corner!!! Maximum Attack is also settling into the C4 nicely and had a dominant heat win, ending up 7th overall. He says there is more to come from the car.......
Derek, as ever, is on the pace in third overalll in Div2.....

Heat 2 starting shortly. An allnighter was pulled by the Eklund team as it was discovered that the 307 had a blown head gasket. All is sorted now and the team are ready for heat 2

Bloody good start from Gronholm but it sounds like he wasn't really challenged in his heat. Put him up against the top 10 drivers, that oughta sort him out

Grönholm will be on pole for the A, if Hansen cannot drive the fastest time in the third runs.

Soooo..... Gronholm wins on his debut. Does that mean that he's just an absolute god or does it mean that the others aren't as good as we thought? (nice controversial one there ). Looking forward to seeing this one.

A mixture really. George was 13th in Heat 2 and on course for another C Final but he was in a tough heat in Heat 3 with Isachsen,Lindefjell and Croon and didn't get away well. Isachsen and Guttorm got involved in a battle which slowed him and this all led to a slow time.

I think you hit the nail on head with initial reason there Bert!!

Come to think of it, should you really expect anything else? Marcus has been at the top of WRC for 10 or so years, and proven to be just as fast as Colin, Tommii and most of all Seb, so its hardly surprising that he is quicker than a load of gents driving rather fast WRC cars!
