Who should be replaced?

Ther are a few drivers in F1 that are just not doing "the bussines" like they should, but wich of those should be replaced?

I voted for Sato, but I think Yoong and Mcnish are also not F1 material.

and replacing TGF would make the racing more interesting

the dutch commentators did ask Eddie J. about Jos, Eddie said he knew Jos very well and that Jos was a very talented driver, but he has a contract with Sato and he could'nt make any more comments at the moment about that.

Sato. There is no chance in Yoong being dumped for now, so we'll just have to live with it, while Sato could be dumped if EJ was willing to take a chance and hire Wilson!

if jordan had any brains he would sign yoong.
he's no worse than sato and would bring much needed cash to jordan, and the asiatech which is surely better than the honda right now

Hyring Wilson would be the same problem for EJ as Peter Sauber had trying to get Jos into the testseat, but I know a driver who is just as tall as Giancarlo

I voted for Sato, He should definetly be "rested" in favour of a more deserving driver possibly Wilson (but oh, he's too tall and isn't buddies with Honda!) but really Sato and Yoong should go.

I think that if we are tlking about who should be there and who not, than I have to vote for Alex Yoong,he has done nothing special in single seaters!!Sato deserves to be there as he is an F3 champion,Mc Nish has done great things in motorsport and has shown that he desrves it just like Sato, but Yoong?????I like him but he has absolutly no right to be there...

ITS GOT TO BE YOOUNG .

Sato is not impressing at the moment for sure , but he will come good in time .Its a shame he's not doing himself proud , but he is never in the same league as Yooung.

Also , i would put Mcnish in the same situation as Sato , please dont compare Mcnish with Yooung , Mcnish has constantly proved him self through out his career .
Alex Yooung has never won anything since he left Formula Asia back in 95 ?????.or something like that.

It's got to be Sato. While Yoong is easily the worst driver on the grid at the moment he brings much needed funds to Minardi. Sato is the second worst driver in F1 and that Honda just isn't worth having a waste of space driver for.

Maybe Sato should consider a career in Rallying because he rather likes the feel of Gravel as opposed to Tarmac

Well, sacking M$ would be in the best interests of the sport, though I think Reubens could do just as well with that damn car! But lessee...

Coultard, Irvine, McNish, and Sato should be replaced. Yoong too, but his sponsors are keeping Minardi afloat. Coultard's just getting slower and should retire, there are plenty of drivers who could do more with that seat. Irvine's dead weight. McNish tries, but this just isn't his scene. Sato's just useless.

Yoong should not be in F1 . So he brings money with him does he , well thats the wrong reason to put him in F1 . McNish , Sato both dont deserve to be classed with a pay driver with the history of Yoong.
Although Sato isnt helping himself much at the moment , did anyone notice who made the most places up on the first lap ?

well i think it was Sato . I think he actually made up 4 or 5 places .

Sato should go, he still has a lot to learn, and Eddie made a bad mistake in not choosing Wilson.

YOONG SHOULD LEAVE F1 .

but on this Sato/ Wilson debate :

Wilson is a very good driver , but doesnt anyone else think that people look at him through tinted glasses because he had such a good year last year ? Apart from last year he has never proved to be a consistent winner since he left Formaul Palmer-Audi in 97.

Justin struggled in F3000 for a few years without good results before he had his very good year in 2001 which he was also in the best car .
Because of last years title , now everyone says Justin is so great .

He is of course very good indeed , but maybe if Justin wins the Formula Nissan championship this year in Spain he will prove himself right for F1 .

But to be honest here , both him and Takuma Sato both had very good years last year , And its all too easy for people to shout for Justin just because Takuma Sato is having a bad time in a very poor car .

I see he made up alot of places but didnt count how many.He had a good start !

Mygale has got a good point about Justin also ,

who can say who would do better , But i do believe that Justin deserves his chance in F1 as he is very good , he should have had his chance this year with Minardi . Justin was a very late thought with the Jordan drive , but which one is better is a big question mark .

But Sato got the drive , he is a past champion also , and deserves to keep his drive at least until Eddie Jordan gives him a decent car to drive in .
The Jordan car is terrible .

Excellent post Mygale, I agree 100%.

I reckon Wilson probably wouldn't have made the same amount of mistakes as Sato, but there's no way in my mind he would be putting up any more competitive lap times and I am a fan of Wilson.
