Two Honda drivers confirmed
Tom Chilton has signed to race one of the Arena run Honda's this season, while Matt Neal's return to Team Dynamics has been confirmed, after 3 years 'out' from his fathers team.
Autosport also reports that Alan Morrison is one of the many drivers negotiating for the 2nd Arena run Civic Type-R's, while TD hopes to source funding for their 2nd car. Looking at some of the news in brief stories, Michael Bentwood could be a possibility for the Arena or TD entries as he states he is looking for a drive, preferably in one of the MG's, Honda's or with Edenbridge. |

No major surprise here. Clearly Chilton being confirmed before Morrison comes down to funding, unless Alan has an offer elsewhere (which wouldn't be BTCC as all the top seats appear filled), and it was always likely that Matt would run under Dynamics now that apparently they have equal support.
Who are people's guesses for the respective second cars? The msot likely appear to be Morrison at Arena and Howell at Dynamics, but both will come down to funding. |

I'd like to see Bentwood get the Honda seat, he did a great job in his first season in his bmw, the Civic's were really the cars to be the production-class and he pushed Hines hard for most of the season. It'd be good to see what he can do in a BTC-T car.

I think this really could be the year (If Honda perform) where Morrison steps up a gear. So go on arena, renew Alan's contract.

If you are reading this Alan, no offence meant!
Please renew his contract though - it would be great to hear his sexy voice and see him around the paddock again in 2004. |
