LANDOOOOOOOOOO!
With several tips of the hat to Oscar, too. He deserved far better than that. |

Got to be Lando. I havent felt that good about a result for many moons. I was shouting at Crofty telling him not to tempt fate with the commentators curse of pre-empting the win. I had quite a lump in my throat when Lando won and the McLaren team were throwing him around like a rag doll.
Oh and kudos to Oscar who deserved better. Also Yuki Tsunoda. |

Lando. I'm absolutely delighted for him and hope it's the first of many.

Lando!!!!!!!! I'll reiterate everyone else's comments too.
There was a bit of luck involved with the safety car, but you've got to make your own luck. Lando made his tyres last so he was still on his first set and setting good times when the opportunity came. And it's not as if he hasn't had bad luck with the safety car in the past. |

the gap that Lando pulled out after the the SC, making no mistakes, rather quickly getting out of DRS range, and ultimately finishing close to 8s ahead of Max was really special imo.
rare these days where you dont see Max getting the better of during a re start! |

Apparently there was damage to the car's floor after Verstappen hit the bollard.

Well, he hit the bollard so it's not much of an 'excuse'.....
