3rd female to win a motor race in Scotland
Sarah Playfair won her first Formula Ford zetec race at knockhill yesterday beating both Sean McIntosh and James Jakes from the Formula Renault UK championship and usual Knockhill racers Julian Taylor and Stuart Thorburn. She became only the 3rd female ever to win a motor race on Scottish soil and possibly, I may be wrong, the only woman to win a Formula Ford Zetec race.
We have been helping Sarah since the start of this year as she is driving one of our old cars at Taylor Motorsport. She has been developing well with little or no testing and is now capable of regularly winning at Knockhill. Hopefully her sponsors Manitou will help her to move up a level for next year. |

Good for her and I hope she raises some sponsorship and gets the chance to compete at a higher level.
