well...we have this constant topic that always runs in different threads , as to whether Micheal is fair on the track , the best driver ever , always gives his team mate a fair chance !

I could look at that car all day. What a classic. A masterpiece. Work of art. The minute it was unveiled you just tell is was going to re-write the record books - so tiny at the back, so slick, so cool in the details.
Those Piola sketches are cool too aren't they? Loads of work and very informative. |

Great stuff. I saved them all. Not the final product, though, like the overhead intake is triangular in the drawings but circular on the car.

(How sad that I need to be so pedantic) - sorry JonesF1, it's been that shape all year (F2001 was round). Although these pictures do appear to be of the pre-Silverstone airbox which ran more or less straight down from TV camera to gearbox (the later one has a pronounced indent).
