grandstands at monaco.

Has anybody in this forum been to the monaco gp and if so have you any advice of what grandstand to watch the race from. I have been to silverstone, magny cours and spa and I want to make monaco my next. I would very much appreciate any advice on where to watch and where not to watch cheers.

The stands at the hairpin (the last one) are good but at the pool is better. Not very cheap though...

Get one where you can see a tv screen because wherever you are you can only see a limited amount of the circuit & it will drive you mad trying to work out what's going on! I was in a grandstand in the harbour (not literally!) last year, facing in towards the back of the pits & you are mega close to the cars there!

jonboyG has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Not cheap? I went last year and the flights and tickets only came to about £25 more than a grandstand at Silverstone. Plus the cars are closer, and you can go to the beach afterwards.

My advice is to get really good tickets for thursday as they'll be cheap, and then medium price ones for the race. And on the friday afternoon you can sit wherever you want , so sit by the pool complex and watch the Porsches.

Unfortunately I'm not going this year as I'm working in the states for a while, but next year I should get cheap tickets as my dad's automobile club of monaco membership should be done.
