Triple J Motorsport should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Any age FFZetec is now allowed in the "new" class C 750MC F4

There are already about a dozen cars/drivers going to race there must be alot more cars out there looking for a club championship to race in.

You coming out to play in F4 this year then Neil? Looks like old SFFC days could be over a dozen standard FFZetecs

[mod]I've done a bit of pruning and moving from the Festival thread where the first comment was made - just if you were wondering - Asp[/mod]

Zetecs, yes I will be out a few times in F4 this year John. Probably at the faster tracks like Snett' where the Zetecs will be more competitive against the winged cars.

There enough of us to have a race of our own Neil. Class A cars have 30+bhp more wings and F3 rubber. Even with your weight advantage you ain't going to beat Jez! Assuming he races!

Only 15 -20 bhp difference from Class A to Class C. Snetterton is the only track a Class C car can race with the Class A. The winged cars create a big whole for the slippey Zetecs to sit in!!

UK Formula Ford driver Garry Finley proved it a couple of years ago getting pole but in the wet race he was well beaten.

I would expect Tofty to beat Jez at Snetterton's rounds 1 & 2...

Sorry back to topic!

Interesting mate suppose if we are able to pass down the straights can hold you under braking and through the corners.

In the wet class use much better F3 wets tyres I assume?

.......unless it rains ofcourse! - in which case clearly downforce is, to put it mildly, 'quite a bit of an advantage'!

If anybody is interested in competing in this class I have a couple of Van Diemen Zetecs which are available for hire.

Take a look at Autosport in the morning as I am lead to believe that there will be a double page spread about the resurgence of F4….
