Lorna should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
If you could ask any of the Touring Car drivers that are racing this year any questions, what would it be?

I hopefully will have the opportunity to ask some of them and would like to pose questions that members of 10 Tenths Motorsport would like to know.

Please post your questions here. Deadline is Sunday 25th March 2001.

It really depends upon who the driver being questioned is. I mean, if it's Thommo or Nealo one could ask: "Why are you such an arse?"

Or if that driver happens to be Yvan Muller, why not ask him: "Are you sick of race fans strolling along on the pit lane walkabout shouting MULLER!! at the top of their voice?"

Serious questions:
BTCT versus ST?
How do they rate their 2001 chances?
Best car they've driven?
Toughest opponent?
And so on...

zzzz... sorry Dano - I think I just went to sleep there...!

Can anyone dig out the interview Invader did with Cleland when he retired from the BTCC ? I seem to recall that had a few amusing Q & A's in it...

I keep coming back to my original Matt Neal Q, Woody...

How about team orders? Ask Derek Warwick about that...

What did you say to me earlier Lorna about gets some sensible suggestions.

Errr.. thanks Craig, although I'm not sure "what are you doing now you have retired?" will get much of a response

Any Driver:

''Whats the best car you've ever driven from the BTCC or NSC?''
then ''Why?''
''Why?'' again
followed by ''WHY?''

I would ask John B&Q/Top Gear. How many races will they give you before a 'decent/better' driver is put in your place? I can give you a few names if you like....

I would ask any of the young drivers, if they had/have any ambitions to get into F1, or do they want to stay in the BTCC.

I'd ask Danielsun why he thinks Neal is an arse. Whooops, you're not a driver are you? That's obvious.

Can't you guys thing of anything interesting to ask drivers. With them questions they'd be asleep before you finished your sentance.

I would love to ask them how the new cars compare to the ST's? But then again I might be able to do just that!

"With the adoption of smaller wheels and therefore brake diameters, how do the brakes of your <insert model> compare to the SuperTourer you drove last year?"

Quickly followed by:

"And do you think that this will give you more overtaking opportunities?"

...Just something I've been wondering about the new regs since they were announced.

Apologies if this is far too sensible and/or boring!

Good one Sparky but will I understand their answer being a non technical/non mechanical person?

Thanks (not!) for the sensible questions - Dano comes straight to mind!

Keep them coming (the sensible ones please! ). I can't guarantee which ones I will get to ask questions but if you have specific ones for specific drivers then we will try our best.

I'll email Invader about the Cleland questions.

go easy on him Les.....hmmm a question
1. If you had the choice to race in any car you wanted to, which one would it be and why.

this next question will not mean anything to anyone but Dave
2. What was the name of the battleship that sunk at Pearl Harbor?

Please ask him question number 2
& give him the clue 'Alfayed'

Well I know the ship - but can't work out the clue - obviously a 'private joke'.

So Mickey - just got to ask him where and when??
