Save the WORLD!
For 14 pound a day you a 3rd world country family could live for a month! Imagen how many children could be saved for a years budget in Formula Ford!

In my opinion that's a wrong way to analize the problem.
It's the whole relationship between rich and poor contries that must be changed; of course we are allowed to get more generous and give more to charity, and make pressure on politics to make paces in this direction, but one less Formula Ford car would only generate some unemployed mechanics, and it wouldn't be good: it would generate poverty at home without eliminating poverty overseas, wouldn'it? |
