Congrats to Scott Sharp for his first pole in 5 years and to Jon Herb for putting his low-buck effort 14th on the grid ahead of some much better funded outfits.

amazing , I never would have thought Sharp would get pole , In fact last week I was considering starting a thread asking whats going wrong with him and Team rahal/letterman.
Brilliant effort Scott , lets hope the race goes just as well |

Great effort from Sharp, but I think the winner will still come from 'The Big Three'. Good to see more variety at the front of the grid though.

I think it's repeated tomorrow early morning.
Not live as far as I know. |

the race actually starts about 4 hours from now (that might help you determining if its live or not)

Looking through the listings (Canada), I see it is on TSN. Programme starts at 8pm my time (4pm my time now). I am assuming that means it is live.
Anyone know if it is being shown on any other networks (I couldn't see it listed as on FoxSp, ABC, NBC, CBS, Rogers SNET, or Speed). I just ask because there is the Busch race on TSN before the IRL, and I am going to work in the not so distant future, thus I am going to record both events. I will just stick a tape in all the way for TSN if it is the only one showing it here, but will "double-up" video recorders if not. Just if IRL was on another, and NASCAR ran over, then TSN would most probably stick with NASCAR. Heck, they might do that regardless, but, if it is only them showing the IRL here, then I have no choice either way. If memory serves, ESPN is doing Busch. Is it doing this IRL round? If so, then that would explain it. In which case, there should be no problem. Last edited by Dutton; 9 Jun 2007 at 22:07. |

Ah, right, cool. That explains why it is a straight run through on TSN only (for me, that is, as the only EPSN channel I have is ESPNc).
Here is hoping Busch doesn't run over, or I may be scuppered RE IRL. |

An interesting race. Especially with Scheckter throwing the hissy of the week this time.
Big pile up in the end taking out a number of front runners due to a bouncing tyre. So - Danica has her first top 3 - didn't even realise she hadn't done that yet. Hornish wins nicely. |

Quite a good race, but the pile up took some of the interest away. It was incredible how Kanaan got through unscathed. Good race from Patrick, but Hornish didn't look like he was going to be beaten.
I don't think he can challenge for the title given the number of road courses though. Marco still struggling on the ovals, but at least he put his hands up and apologised. You can respect him for that. |
