Now that we have two tire manufacturers entering F1 it looks as though we will have an additional battle within the impending tire war. COLORS! Bibendum says our tires will be any color but black. Sounds like he has been listening to 'Lucy In the Sky with Diamonds' backwards a few too many times!
The sponsors may like it; more coverage of the company color. We could have multi-colored grooves, psychedelic rain tires, patterns(that could distract following drivers),along w/ uglier(?) machines. Do you think that F1 will be losing more of its 'style'? |

Here in the US, B.F. Goodrich now offers custom colored tires for those customers looking for more customization for their vehicles. The tires must be ordered but come with colored stripers in your choise in the tread grooves. Michelin may be looking for something similar.

I thought they were going to match the color of the car and be one solid color. e.g. Green on the Jag, Yellow on the Jordans.
