Cleveland Race Thread (includes RACE spoilers)
we now move onto the wide open airport runways of Cleveland , one of my favourite venues of the year.
after the seat swapping prior to Portland I guess its a time for everyone to settle into their new roles , alltough Im not sure if Domiguez will be at Coyne as I believe they were going to re-asses the situation after Portland but I dont see why he wouldnt be. will be a very interesting event this time round , Can AJ become a back to back winner ? Will the arrival of AJ spur Paul Tracy back towards the front ? Will Bourdais take back his mantle and start his winning streak again ? Can Wilson or damatta break through for a much needed win ? lots of questions and its shaping up to be a cracker |

It's one of my favorites, too, marcus.....
In fact, my two favorite Champ car circuits now are Cleveland and Edmonton...I fell in love with Edmonton after watching last year's race in front of a packed house....in fact, I like Edmonton's course better, but for 25 years now, Cleveland has been a big highlight of my motorsports season to watch... But I digress.... Looks like AJ has found a very comfortable seat...this parting from Russo seems to be the best thing that could have happened to him thus far... |

Rocketsports seems to be struggling a lot this year, don't they?
da Matta and Dominguez don't seem to be having much fun, either, even with the change in scenery, either... Philippe seems to be settling into things after a tough 2005...glad to see it. |

Dominguez down among the rookies, which is surprising, even after allowing for the challenge of moving teams. The midfield is extremely close though.

Bourdais on provisional pole, but atleast he's having to pull out big laps to get it.
Good to see Tracy competitive again. |

PKV team cars seem to be no better than average, at best. It would be interesting to see what Kathrine do in a top rated ride.
Yes, I know there are others more deserving, but I am curious. |

It's nice to see CTE/HVM racing continuing to perform. Now if only Bourdais would stop kicking everyone's butt. PT just seems off this year... I can't help but suspect that a significant part of Bourdais' dominance has to due with PT not being in top form. Nice to see AJ fast again though.

WOW Paul Tracy is completely all over the place , I have never ever seen him drive like that before.
Is there something seriously wrong or is he just trying way to hard at the moment ? |

It may be to early to say but it looks like the change of teams has turned AJ into a serious title contender. I didn't expect him to have the edge over Tracy this soon, that's for sure.
Hopefully Wilson can break his string of second places with a win this time out. |

Looks like Forsythe's problem was the whole driver line-up!
And maybe RuSport werent that good afterall it was JUST the drivers! |

Oh my god what a start.
Andrew ranger spins at turn one but a bit further up Servia, Tracy and Bourdais come together and PT took a huge ride over the top of Bourdais. lets hope Bourdais is ok because it looked very nasty |
