Why were the cars displaying full cigarette advertising in Germany? I thought that, like at Silverstone, it was prohibited.

They just changed the laws in Germany, i think for f1. But the Mclaren f3000 cars ran with the drivers names on the side, this was a bit strange as west dont even sponsor them any more????
