Spanner monkey should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Scrutineering

Why do we have rule's & scrutineers to enforce the rules when giovanardi's car clearly failed the ride height at the end of race 3?? I was in a position to see it & after watching my recording off it could'nt see why he wasnt excluded!!! The one official was remonstrating with the other that it was clearly very low. Their was'nt even any damage to the front end! The chap standidng next to me looked in dissbelief as it ended up being waved through

Well I'm a pit marshal and quite often help with the weight pads on those checks.
I wasn't at croft so i can't comment on this particular event.

How do you know it clearly failed? How far did the roller get underneath the car?

Well then obviously the spoiler had damage for it to be that low!

I really don´t understand why they accept ´race damage´. giovanardi could only have got the damge from the back of Thommos civic?

Puncture yes, race damage, no!

And then what's stopping the guy in front brake checking the guy behind and getting him excluded because of race damage?

Fear of damaging his own car? Apart from that, I think that race damage should be considered when checking the car, because sometimes, at Thruxton for instance, you have to use the kerbs very aggressively, and if you don't because you're afraid of damaging the car and be excluded you'll be too slow, which would be too bad for the sport, for the show and for the drivers.
