Kyalami
Would the old Kyalami be too fast for modern F1 cars?

There are circuits currently in use (eg Monza) that are faster overall than the pre-1985 Kyalami configuration.
What happened to the old Kyalami - has it been built on? |

It has been built on......by the current Kyalami circuit.

Yes, very unfortunate. I think I saw a list, by Alan Jenkins I believe, that had the old Kyalami at number 1 in a list of great circuits, ahead even of the old Nurburgring!
