I remember having the Corgi Junior toy version of that when I was a kid!

It would be interesting to see the original turn up if it does still exist- Slightly O/T, but I think I read somewhere the Britsh Vita mid-engined V8 Mini from the 60's was rediscovered recently?

Yes, under an arch, undisturbed after 40 years in Elephant and Castle...why didn't one of you lot notice it!! (although I was told it was in Classic Car mag. and a Radford Cooper Buick Mini)

I met up with Jeff in the Gavin Wills pit at Donington just a fortnight ago during the European F3 Open. He helps as a technical consultant for the team. He seemed very well and in good form whilst we swopped memories of the good old days. He does admit to being a fan of the warmer climes.

Back to the supercharged Mini. I saw and admired it at Brunton and Gurston hill climbs. Lost its bonnet on one occasion, I seem to recall.

Surf 1275 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Slight thread revival here..Jeff and his BVRT Minisprint will be reunited at the Shelsley Walsh Classic Nostalgia meeting on July 28th. The car is just as it was, has been in France since the 70's and is returning for the first time since.

We're celebrating 50 years of the Cooper S with a variety of flavours of Mini on the hill, Stirling Moss is guest of honour with Barrie Williams and others.
