I just found a guy in the US who has really low prices. He gets all the latest stuff and is super fast with getting it out. I've been really pleased with his personal service. He also has a nice web site. He will probably save you more than enough money to cover the additional postage.
http://www.fastonecollectibles.com/ Tell him the doctor sent you for a diecast prescription. And I couldn't resist another shot of the Bentley, which i got from him the day after I ordered it. |

Riding roughshod over the Pink Pig, eh Doc?!
Nice one, I'd like to have one of those on my bookshelf. (But I'll wait until the singleton Bentley wins at Le Mans in June. Optimistic aren't I? ). Last edited by Aysedasi; 7 Apr 2002 at 19:07. |

Good to see the Bentley exists.I ordered one in December to be signed by the drivers but apparently there was a problem tracking down Eric VD Poele to sign it.I' assured though that any day now it'll be here.

Online Internet ordering in the UK for diecasts is a bit thin on the ground. You may be able to save money by ordering from www.raceland.de in Germany if you order more than 2 or 3 models. Failing that make your way along to a swapmeet at Donington Park or the NEC for a good choice of Le Mans miniatures.

A good supplier of model kits in the UK is grand prix models. They supply models and accessories from all forms of motor sport, some are ready built and some are in kit form.
They stock items from all the major manufacturers i.e. Starter, Provence Moulage, Rennaissance, Studio 27 to name but a few. They are on the web at www.grandprixmodels.com, thay also produce a magazine called Four Small Wheels, which is full of colour photos of their latest models and forthcoming releases, Happy Shopping |

Oh I forgot to mention they have a lovely looking Aston Martin AMR1 from the 89 race with lift of body work, and a nice XJR14 Jag from the WSC rounds at Monza / Silverstone in their latest release section.

FG,
Delivery from Germany is pretty quick, they use Deutsche Post which translates to Securicor in the UK, which can be a pain if you aren't in when they deliver (and the depot isn't near). Packaging is excellent, prices good, especially if you order more than 2 or 3 models. The thing I notice however, is that Spark and Ixo get to the US way before Europe, so a good value US shop might also be a good option. |

Finally got my Bentley models today. They look stunning. Took me a while to arrange them, I need to buy a cabinet to store them in. I just stack them at the moment and in numerical order. I have about 42 models so as you can imagine it took a while.
