GT1 looks very interesting too IMO, the Saleen on pole is always a good thing and the MC12 is splitting the 2 works C6R's. The viper is somewhat nearer the pace too it would seem, good to see.

Not bad for an older car... I see Motors TV is loaded with good events tomorrow, you guys over there enjoy it tomorrow. The Cup races has a good chance at being a snoozer, but I'm all wrapped up in College Football today! |

I strongly believe we are being fooled by the GT1 qualifying. The Corvette team was "caught" lifting off in order to stage comparative qualifying twice now. All the sudden the second Vette is off so much. I don't believe them a bit.
The above is only my own opinion and does not imply anything negative. The post can be deleted from the board. |

The Dyson Lolas always seem to go well at Mosport. That Lola B05 LMP2 car just continues to be a sensation. I don't see the Radical being able to do much against that car unless it is due to endurance, which in LMP2 does seem to be the issue. I sure wish the Courage Mazda had made a leap. And, awergzyn, I hope you are wrong.
Looking forward to the race tomorrow. robert |

I don't think there was anyone lifting off. Fellows said he thought he could have found another 10th if he had an other crack at it. I still expect a Corvette 1-2 at the end.
I was at the track on Friday and the Dyson cars looked great. They have always been quick at Mosport. I thought Weaver would have the pole as he is really good here. We are going to be there for the race. The local newspapers are predicting a good crowd. The Toronto sports radio station had a long report from the track on Saturday. I think it all helps to bring in fans. The weather will be perfect (except there was a brief surprise rain shower on Saturday, I don't think that will happen 2 days in a row) but then this is Mosport and there has certainly been strange weather before at some ALMS races here. Sunny all day say the experts though. |

The Mazda would be quicker if they got the proper rear end in the car.

Yes, due to fuel situation, which I guess has reach all the way up there. Is it actual shortage, or is it to show they are acknowledging current situation?
This also seems like it will not bode well for a crowd to be able to get to the track. |

Thats interesting. I was just thinking about this today. But really, what are we gonna do with 110 octane leaded race gas?? Im sure the stuff they are using has already been made, they are really doing nothing to help us...
Although if you didnt think about that Im sure it would LOOK as if they were...so maybe thats where that comes from. Maybe the broadcast will tell us more. |

That Viper should be a GT2...at least then it would be competitive, it has been giving the other AJR car busy for many laps now.

Argh! Contact! Tyre wall! It had been relatively civilised up to that point.
The excitement has killed the director by the look of it too! |
