Le Mans 1000Km Race Thread
Well it's here we seem to have been talking about it for ages but the Le Mans 1000Km is here. Anyway it is Reported on DSC that it is wet at Le Mans this morning, that will make things interesting

Just seen a couple of pic's from warm up over on DSC and it looks wet, race gets underway in half an hour........

well, the laps they did last have changed, but no gap or lap indications, so does this mean we're under way then?
If so then it's Audi-5 from Dome-8, from Courage-2 and Lister-4. |

yeah, it doesn't auto refresh lol. Just refrech every couple of minutes and you get some idea of what's going on.
Pace pretty close up front. |

whoa, they just like slowed by nearly a second last lap, could the rain be getting worse? Pescarolo was fastest last time round

theres no other source for anything live? between this thread, the timing and scoring, and DSC? no live video? no radio?

wow, GTS cars up to 4th and 5th already. Konrad is in 4th in gts and slpping further away from the other 3 gts cars. i hope they are just taking their time, especially in the wet..

i'm not sure, they seem to be lapping as fast now as they were in Quali.
But the pace is pretty eratic, ranging anywhere between 1m646 and 1m50. I reckon Pescarolo is having the best race so far though, lapping quite regularly faster than Audi Japan. |

why do you think they're lapping so inconsistently? Audi and RFH just did 1m50s, Pescarolo 1m48....

maybe track is drying, and some cars have intermediates and some have rain tyres.

Yeah, but Audi for instance has been doing lap times something like this 1m47, 1m48, 1m50, 1m47, 1m50, 1m46 etc..... Almost like they're all dicing with one another, it's surely too early to be lapping trafiic isn't it?
