In a recent move of driver shuffling, the Panoz Motorpsort tream has been divided up into a European versus Aussie layout witht he signing of veteran racer Klaus Ludvig. here are the lineups...
David Brabham and Jason Bright vs. Klaus Ludvig and Jan Magnussen The third car is driven by Americna johnny O'Connell and Japanese Hiroki Katoh. Should make for an excellent insider battle at the race as the Panoz squad tries to take on Allan McNish and the very fast Audi Sport team. |

it is actually going to be a seven driver line up for the Adelaide race.
David Brabham and Jason bright will be joined by New Zealander Grag Murphy in the No. 12 car. I am amazed to see Ludwig in the team actually as I heard he was planning to go into retirement ..but he just keeps popping up ..he must be well over 50 years old by now ..but can still produce some stunning drives. Magnussen and Ludwig will also be the drivers debuting the brand new Panoz for this event..why they didnt put Brabham in the new car is strange to me but at least he will be in a proven car and have some really good young chargers co driving with him. I think car 12 will be the top Panoz for the weekend. |

Wrong Klaus
The driver with Magnussen is Klaus Graf the regular Panoz test driver. They will share the 2001 car while Brabham joins murphy and Bright in the #12 (a 2000 car).
I saw the Ludwig mention elsewhere also, but the Panoz website and the official entry both show Graf as the guy. Bob |

thanks Bob..of course graf has been testing and occasionally driving for panoz all year so it would make sense that it is him driving..still i would like to see Klaus Ludwig have a crack at the ALMS before he finally did give it up.

Wow, I must say KC and Marcus, I find all this perplexing.
Could you give your sources (sauces!) on that meaty info, causes that's obviously starkly different from what is going around in Adelaide. Indeed all of Oz has it that Jason is with Greg, and David drives the 2001 car. As for Katoh, it seems he crashes whatever he's in. Surely, its a bit of a concern if they are still fiddling with pilot line up at this late stage. |

Yeah, its wicked. Ive actually got it bookmarked, but hadn't checked it for about 2 or 3 weeks.
I thought it was very generous of them to have all of those multimedia files available, and the Panoz LMP1 power specs too. Some teams hide away all of the technical details, and dont offer much to download. Thanks for the Refs. |
