Data logging software

Hi there,

I'm doing a university project and I wonder if I could get some sample output from a few popular data logging systems - PI / Astratech?
If you could attach the output file(s) from any session, regardless of track and say which system it is from, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks,

met

http://www.compsystems.com.au/DigitekSoftware.htm

There's a link to a demo version of the Magneti Marelli software with a data log of a GT something at Spa

For Pi, just get the Data Set Filename.pds and email it.

If you download i2 from www.motec.com.au there is a sample file there, with a Formula Ford around Phillip Island.

Thanks everyone. I'm most interested in Pi at the moment, and looking at Astratech too. However, I would appreciate the largest data set possible so I will download the software evaluations and take a look at the data from them.

chewy pappas: Thank you, if you could send it to me (or attach it here) that would be great. I think Lukin explains how to do it.

breezeblock: Which system are you using? I would imagine it would be most similar to how Lukin explained, with files from each session probably in the program directory.

Thanks everyone.

In Club Expert, you will either have .s1a or .s2a files, depending on whether you have a system 1 or 2 respectively. .pds files are Toolbox offload files.

Remember that if you are copying these files to another computer, they will have to be put in a .dat folder in the Club Expert Install directory. To do this, create a new folder in the directory, call it something like Mydata.dat and copy the s1a/s2a files into there

Also, if you go onto www.pixpress.com, you can download a free copy of Club Expert which contains sample data for Car, Kart and Bike applications

Regards

Stuart

maybe it's a stupid suggestion but in the racegame GTR you can work with Motec too, maybe that can help?
