WANTED: A Marshal with a welder

Dear All

I race in the 750 Stock Hatch, so that means panel damage (unfortunately - although I am sometimes the one to blame).

I need to find someone who is capable of welding panels to a car, specifically an XR2 - (I can do the paintwork) based in Oxfordshire (as close to Botley as possible would be good)

In return you can have a free adsvertisement on the car, on both front wings. The advert production (sticker cost) is also footed by me. So if you've got your own business or have a mate who does and can do welding, I'd love to hear from you.

I guess this would be 'a promise of welding' for a free advert.

I will supply the panels. Just need the labour and someone with a welder. I realise that during a heavy shunt, certain things will be beyond what can be done at home and will require professional repair.

And yes, I do have some damnage at the moment (see picture below) but I'd be prepared to pay someone for the welding this first time out (so as not to put you off!!! ) - just the left front wing required.

Why do you need a welder. Looking at the picture you have everything you need to run (1 big hammer and 1 small hammer)

Did you race today, i was on the start line, what number were you?
i hope it all turned out well, the stock hatch was certainly entertaining but then again the whole meeting was.

No I never did. Unfortunately, this was a meeting I couldn't attend due to cash flow. I'm car 68.

What happened? Any hot news? Who won the races?

Phil

i couldn't tell you who won, although i was mightily impressed with them. especially the size of the grids.
Good luck with the rest of the season, i'll look out for you if i attend any other meetign at which the stock hatch are present.

Phil, I'm moving this thread to the National Racing Forum as I think you will have better luck there.

Stephen.
