Red Bull - what are the American drivers doing?
Have not heard a word about how Grant Maiman is doing? Been a long time since any news of Joel Nelson! Guess that Scott Speed broke finger - when will he be back? Paul Edwards is doing well in World Series. Tests at Jarama showed him in sixth place, but if you factor in the stickier tyres, he would be 2nd to Frank Montagny at the end of the day.
Anyone out there have any links for Maiman, Nelson, Speed, or Edwards? Thx. |

How do you figure with stickier tires he'd be 2nd when he's not even faster than his teammate?
Nelson was 4th or 5th in the Euro F3000 testing, having seen any Eurocup testing. Maiman's gonna do what, 5 races this season? He kinda got screwed |

Phil Giebler tested very impressively in Euro F3000 yesterday with Teah Ghinanzi and is trying to put the budget together for the Euro F3000 series. Should be a championship contender if he can get the funding in place.
Pat Long is driving in the German Carrera Cup and select Porsche Supercup races as a junior factory driver for the UPS Porsche Junior Team. |

Has Pat completely ditched the single seaters then?
Would be a shame if he has because I was quite a fan of his driving style. |

Can't believe Speed would want to commute. Isn't that the reason they gave for Michael Andretti not doing well in F1. Sure there's alot more to it, but thought you'd have to be close to the "inside" of the racing series. Guess that culture shock is really bad for Americans! But, could understand not wanting to be too far from home with the unrest in the world.
