BTCC points system

Do you think the BTCC will ever use the Formula 1 points system?

No, the F1 points system works well in one place, and one place only -Formula 1. It's the traditional Grand Prix points system - that's were it belongs, I see no point in the BTCC adopting it.

Peugeot #1 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Only World championships take the top six positions. (f1,wrc)
Top national championship are the top 10 (btcc, f3)
One make and minor championships are between top 12 & 16 points positions.
