Many have been angered by Barrichello's driving tactics in the last three Grand Prix. I simply put it down to Rubens taking on a new role at Ferrari. The no holds barred enforcer to take on Schumacher and the rest of the field! Give him a break and he will soon start winning becoming everyone's favorite Rubhino again. It is great to see drivers such as Barrichello and Villeneuve in the sport, even Jos the Boss. People will be saying in years time remember when Montoya was robbed of of his maiden win! Racing in Formula 1 has always been filled with accidents, and that being the reason millions around thw world watch F1.

New role? What new role? The same number two role he has played since the start of last season? If Rubens has a 'new role', it's all in his head.

Well, I agree it's time to stop picking on Rubens, but I wonder who tunes into F1 races to see crashes. You should watch NASCAR if you want to see crashes.

I dunno.
It's like Rubens is on a "No More Mr Nice Guy"-rush. Just took the concept from Michael and went with it. Well, it's obviously not working for him. Clean up your act and stick to what youre good at, I would say. |

Shoo,
At last someone has seen the glory of Rubens work. He is but the instrument of a vengeful God. Ridding the track of the undeserving. With his faithful servant Jos at his side. |

IT'S TIME TO STOP HTE ROAST
Firstly, I have to admit that I have roasted Rubens, not so much for his punting Germans, but because he tried to blame the other driver when viewing the tape of the races clearly shows that he has been wholly or at least partly to blame for his prangs.
I remember not that long ago that Rubens was one of the favourites of this forum, and many wanted him to succeed. When he joined Ferrari, I was happy for him that he would get a top car to drive, be able to show his ability and have the chance to win a few races. I was also apprehensive that he would be relegated to a support role in his new team, and I said so many times. However, it is sad that he has allowed his emotions to affect his judgement of his racing incidents. Had he taken the time to check the telemetry, replay the tapes of the incident, and consult his team manager before speaking, he would have come up with a much clearer version of the event and not blamed the other driver for his own mistake. However, we have roasted him enough, as we have Jos, and it is time to get on with enjoying this forum on other topics. Let's hope that Rubens stops punting, and maybe start winning a few more races. |

I forgave Rubino for the driving error a long time ago, hours in fact. Everyone makes mistakes.
It's his attitude, that concerns me. It is this that caused the accident, and it has'nt changed. I was just as mad at Jos, but after his appology, that was it, over. When I have seen an attitude change, I will get past it, but it will take time. Twas the same for me when TGF hit JV, but time heals AFTER a change in attitude. Topic closed. Now, apart from Rubins & Jos, who else screwed up...... |
