I wonder what is happening with Haga. He was fastest after FP1 with 1:33:332.
The other leaders improved their times by over a second from FP1 to QP1, while Haga has gone backwards. ?? |

Yes, more racing!
Not to mention, one of the best race tracks of the year! |

Haga is riding around pretty sore, he'll be around on Sunday.
I'm not surprised by Smrz his speed, he was quite quick during the test season. |

Maybe Haga didn't push 100%, as he's still not fully fit after last weekend?
Good runs from Smrz and Holland, but it means more tomorrow. |

Watching superpole now, if Haga has nerve problems and a weak arm, are they sure it isn't something more serious like a bulging disk in his neck? Y'know, an injury where you can get in serious strife if you fall again?
Bike riders. Anyway, there seems to be two types of riders in this field, the privateer Hondas and everyone else. |

Biaggi's bike went poof in Superpole.
Bad luck Max. He's not so much of a Villan anymore. |

And Bayliss decides to run .5 faster than anybody else in qualifying. As you do.
What is it with Australian's on Ducatis? |

Max isn't such a villain anymore because he is quite easy to beat. His gear lever fell off today incidentally, hence no lap.

Well 2 rounds in and it certainly does appear that the Ducati's have a signifcant performance advantage over the rest. Fingers crossed that they will be pegged back sooner rather than later otherwise this championship is going to be over pretty quickly.

They have an advantage, but it is not massive. It's the drive out of the corner where they are winning it with that massive torque.
However, they lack on topspeed. When Ten Kate get some time to sort out their bike, that Honda is going to be a serious contender for victories. PS. Great racing again. That supersport race was nailbiting! Last edited by Gerben24; 2 Mar 2008 at 13:40. |

Ok, so when did Biaggi and Xaus trade places?
Hats off to Bayliss, brilliant ride. Bummer for Corser. Can't help but feel that his time has come on gone now. Nice to see the Honda boys mixing it up. Now we get to wait a month till Valencia... |

What a great way for Troy to say goodbye to Phillip Island. Can't wait for the rest of the season.
Good effort from Pitt as well, a great weekend for the Aussies |

lol, same old same old
I am beginning to understasdn teh Aussie way now, watched some clips of footage from GP's the other day and even teh comentary is utterly biased towards the locals, even Sheene is shouting Yes win Mick wins races so funny Must be hard when other peple win rounds there for you guys, how on earth did you cope when Haga won twice, did you clap or not know what to do?? lol Just such an alien thing for me to do guess thats why i dont get it, i dont care who wins as long as its good racing. It makes a bit of a difference if a UK guy is involved but it depends on the guy aswell Is great if Brits do well aswell but they can be aresholes like Foggy and it means nothing then, and Hodgson was great, he was winning but he had a huge bike advantage so why bother getting all nationalistic? Toseland I ahve to admit I do like coz hes normal and funny, I feel for yanks though, how did any of you ever like Lawson or even Kocinski!! And why was Schwantz so, so popular over here, almost an adopted Brit, like Chili, weird. |

So what you mean is Foggy was just too successful for you, is that what you're saying?
Don't diss Foggy chunder, or I'm coming to find you. |
